Monodiet Brown Rice Detox Diet

This is not for the faint hearted.

You may think you like brown rice but eating it continually can be a bit trying (therefore we have included a *softer option below whilst eating brown rice). However, it is one of the best foods to detox because:

  • It is a nutritious food
  • It is high in fibre therefore helps to stop hunger pangs. You have to chew it, it is not the type of food that just slips down the throat. This sends a signal to the brain to alert for fullness and is therefore more satisfying.
  • The fibre in brown rice is gentle on the digestive tract
  • High in fibre therefore aids elimination and flushes through waste.
  • But the most over-riding attribute is that as it passes through your digestive system it claws and takes with it any nasties in your system to elimination.

Please refer to the dos and don'ts on detox for advice on how to get the most from your programme. You must adhere to the wind-down and up to normal eating; otherwise you may get a severe withdrawal reaction

On all days drink water, tisanes or herbal teas.
