Fishy Feet

Tuesday July 27, 2010 at 10:42pm

Ok we've all seen the fishy feet coverage in the press this week and at times I'm quite tempted to dip my feet into Garra Ruffa Fish infested waters to have them nibble and suck away at the dry dead skin on my toes, cuticles and heels... but then I chicken out as maybe I am just too squeamish and I just can't get my head round how they must feel... apart from constantly full.

Also known as Doctor Fish, originating from Turkey and practised all over Asia, it's apparently all the rage.  Having survived early health and safety concerns from the USA , with bans in some states it has made it to our shores.

Despite craving beautiful feet I think I am going to stick to my cosy sofa, a bowl of warm water and some great products to get rid of my calluses and cloven heels and leave the fish to get on with their fishy business.

My sole saviour is a buff  up with Tweezerman Pedro Callus Stone

Sole Saviour Art Deco Aromatic Repair BalmFollowed with  an all over foot massage with this super duper moisturiser with Cupuacu Butter, Calendula Oil,Essential Lotus, Hibiscus and Licorice radix extract and scented with Orange and Cinnamon [SKU:AD-6258] - almost good enough to eat!

Wev'e got some great advise on the secrets to neat feet and how to do an anti-ageing pedicure at home. take a look.
