What is Fluid Retention?

First of all here we are talking of either cyclical or general fluid retention. Medical fluid retention which is a symptom of kidney, heart conditions and other underlying facts must be referred to a doctor.

Cyclical water retention is usually a symptom of an upcoming period and disappears just as quickly afterwards.

General water retention can affect menstruating women as well as women of menopausal age. The symptoms for both are: breast tenderness, swollen fingers, bloated tummy, puffy eyes, tired heavy legs, puffy ankles and knees and weight gain
