What is Rosacea?

RosaceaWhen a woman looks at her skin and starts seeing red, she may have a skin condition called Rosacea. This is not an uncommon skin problem and is often mistaken for acne.

Rosacea is not uncommon among middle-aged women. Since some of its symptoms closely resemble adult acne, it can be difficult for a lay person to determine whether the red, irritated skin is caused by this disorder or not. To get an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment, consult a Doctor or a Dermatologist.

More common in fair-skinned than dark-skinned people and in women more than men! Because it looks like acne, it can cause psychological and social problems if it is not treated, it can be highly embarrassing as there is no cure.
